Choosing the right contractor…
When choosing a contractor you will want to make a decision as to whether you want a specialist or a general contractor. General contractors usually do many different things including, but not limited to fences, turfing, planting, etc…. Specialistconcentrate specifically on two aspects: hardscaping and brick paving. Your driveway is not your garden patio in the backyard and in our opinion requires a specialist.Absolute Pavers are Specialist driveway paver installers.

Project: 1100 sq. ft. Driveway “My experience with contractor has not been too good. Most of the time they never call you back when they say they will and they set appointments and don't keep them. The ones that do come, treat you like you have no clue what you're talking about. Bert listened to my concerns, spoke to me in a language that I could understand, respected my opinions and for that I gave him the job, point blank.” - Mr. Bartos |
Getting three (3) or more estimates…
We have been to many homes where the work was not done correctly and needed to be completely reworked because the owner wanted to save a couple $100 bucks…..

This is what happens when you don’t have the proper draining. |
To get over this curb & into this driveway, you will need a 4-wheel drive. |
What Else Can Go Wrong?…..
1. Empty Joints
2. Bad falls and gradients negatively effecting drainage
3. Obvious low spots and humps (happens often)
4. Use of broken pavers (to cut cost)
5. Use of damaged pavers (to cut cost)
6. Use of ugly pavers (negligent)
7. Pavers not tied to the foot path
8. Rubble and debris not cleared (negligent)
9. Damage to grass (negligent)
10. Crooked Joints
11. Concrete stains (negligent)
These are all signs of a driveway contractor gone bad, looking to meet the homeowner's lowest price possible and compromising on the quality of work. As mentioned before, we are not the cheapest, but our work is impecable. If you know what to look for in advance you can save yourself alot of headache.
Let’s talk about what matters to people who eventually become our customers
Once your driveway is finished, then what?…..
Four (4) things you can expect in the first three months….
1. The sand used on your pavers will settle.
2. Good Contractors will come back to top up your driveway with a new and final layer of sand.
3. Self Sealing of the Joints.
4. Good Contractors will recommend that you seal your driveway to reduce weeds from growing between the pavers and enhance the color(s) of your driveway.
We hope this information has been helpful. If you are in the market for Driveway Pavers, we hope that you will give us an opportunity to share our expertise.
