I am the owner of Absolute Pavers. I wanted to take this time to have a frank, open and honest discussion with you about the decision you’re going to make to hire a contractor to do your driveway, walkway, patio, pool deck or retaining wall.
Sure, I would love it if you decided, after reviewing my website, to choose my company to provide you with an estimate but that is not always the case. So I wanted to take a few minutes to provide you with some valuable information that could save you one BIG headache.

Why Is A Lifetime Warranty Important, Anyway?
You would think this question is self-explanatory, yet 100’s of homeowners like you spend $1,000’s of dollars everyday beautifying their homes only to find out later that they have a problem on their hands.
What would it have cost them to ask their contractor for a lifetime warranty?
Nothing!
What it would have done was given them the ability to hold the contractor to a higher standard and request FREE follow up on work, if 3 months down the road their driveway had a sink hole in it overnight.
Here are some examples of Paver Jobs gone ‘bad.’ A warranty here would have been very valuable don't make the same mistake.

Unfortunately, there are a number of things that can go wrong if the contractor that you choose takes shortcuts to meet a low estimate….
1. Empty Joints
2. Bad falls and gradients negatively effecting drainage
3. Obvious low spots and humps (happens often)
4. Use of broken pavers (to cut cost)
5. Use of damaged pavers (to cut cost)
6. Use of ugly pavers (negligent)
7. Pavers not tied to the foot path
8. Rubble and debris not cleared (negligent)
9. Damage to grass (negligent)
10. Crooked Joints
11. Concrete stains (negligent)
These are all signs of a driveway job 'gone bad,' where the contractor may have been looking to meet the homeowner's lowest price possible and compromised on the quality of work. If you know what ask for in advance you can save yourself alot of headache.
A Few Questions You Need To Ask Yourself…..

- If by chance something goes wrong, do you want the comfort of knowing it will be fixed FREE of charge?
- Will a lifetime warranty discourage my contractor from cutting corners?
If your answer is ‘yes’ to the three questions above, then I suggest when you get your estimates done that you ask this all-important question. "Do you provide a lifetime warranty on your work"? Also make sure that you ask for a copy of the warranty so that you know what is covered.
